Brian Marlow - Executive director
Brian Marlow is the Executive Director for the Australian Taxpayers' Alliance, and the Director of Legalise Vaping Australia, where he heads up our campaign to Legalise life-saving vaping technology in Australia. Brian has worked in grassroots campaigning since 2015 at both the state and federal level. Brian has been interviewed by major national news sources in Australia including the SBS and ABC, as well as countless international newspapers, radio and television stations.
Tim Andrews - President
Tim Andrews is the Founder and President of the Australian Taxpayers’ Alliance. He holds a Bachelor of Economics, a Bachelor of Laws, and a Masters of Public Policy from the University of Sydney. Tim has previously worked for Cato Institute, Americans for Tax Reform, and as a Koch Associate. He is a Director of the Australian Libertarian Society and Co-Convenor of the Friedman Conference, the largest libertarian conference in the Asia-Pacific Region, a member of the UK Taxpayers Alliance Advisory Council, and a member of the The Commonwealth Freedom of Movement Organisation Advisor Board.
Satya Marar - Policy Director
Satyajeet 'Satya' Marar is a Sydney-based writer and policy analyst. He is currently the Director of Policy at the Australian Taxpayers' Alliance. He has provided submissions and appeared before Parliamentary and Senate inquiries to give evidence on tax policy, foreign affairs & trade, public health and civil liberties. He has reported on Federal and state budgets and appears on Radio and TV, including on Sky News and SBS The Feed as a panelist. His articles have been featured in Australian Financial Review, Herald Sun, the Daily Telegraph, Newcastle Herald, The Hill, Quillette, Spectator, RealClear Policy, Foundation for Economic Education, Freedom Today, CapX, Quadrant, The Verdict, LibertyWorks and Online Opinion.
Katarina Perkovic - External Affairs Manager
Katarina Perkovic is the External Affairs Manager for the Australian Taxpayers’ Alliance. She coordinates ‘Liberty on the Rocks’ Australia and manages the Legalise Vaping campaign. She received her Bachelor's degree from the University of Wollongong in Business and Commerce. She is fluent in Croatian.
Emilie Dye - Communications Manager
Emilie Dye is a Media Adviser for the Australian Taxpayers’ Alliance. She graduated from the George Washington University in Washington, DC with a Bachelors of Science in Economics. Previously, she worked for the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget, the Cato Institute, and the US House of Representatives. At the ATA she has published in the Daily Telegraph and the Spectator.
Research associate - AnjalI Nadarajane
Anjali Nadaradjane is currently studying a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws combined degree at Macquarie University. Since March 2018, she has been a Research Associate at the Australian Taxpayers Alliance. Her articles have been published in The Spectator Australia, Quadrant Online, Herald Sun, Daily Telegraph and LibertyWorks. She is also a local coordinator for the Students For Liberty Asia-Pacific chapter.
eliot metherell - Office manager
Eliot Metherell trained as a high school teacher at Macquarie University, leaving to work as a research associate under Dr John Humphreys at the Professional Research Institute for Management and Economics. On returning to Australia, Eliot worked briefly in land conservation before taking up his current position with the ATA. His writing has been published in The Spectator and LibertyWorks.
Emilio garcia - Content Co-Ordinator
Emilio is a political commentator and the host of the Australian Taxpayers' Alliance Podcast, "ATA' Pod!" He moved to Sydney from Los Angeles, California to study at William Blue at Torrens University where he earned a Bachelors of Business. Emilio has worked in alternative media doing mostly podcasts and opinion writing and recently founded the centrist opinion outlet "The Radical Center."
marko horg - digital media
Marko is a Digital Media Consultant with the Australian Taxpayers’ Alliance and a Global Coordinator for the IGO Watch. He has appeared on C-SPAN to discuss regulation, public health, and the importance of personal choice. While a Political Science student at the University of Belgrade, he was an active member of Student For Liberty Serbia and published in Speak Freely. More recently he spoke at LibertyCon in Washington DC and assisted with the Annual Friedman Conference in Sydney.
mackenzie lofts - research associate
Mackenzie is a Research Associate with the Australian Taxpayers’ Alliance where she has published articles in The Spectator and The Sydney Tory. She has advocated against lowering the voting age to 16 and has written about issues within the Liberal Party. Previously she served the Youth MP for the North Shore and the Youth Shadow Minister for Mental Health at the YMCA NSW.
